On November the 13th, 2014 the USRCC hosted a Business Luncheon honoring  His  Excellency Sergey I. Kislyak, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the U.S. 

A career diplomat, Ambassador Kislyak joined the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation/USSR in 1977. During his distinguished career, he has held a range of posts, including that of Ambassador to Belgium and Russia’s representative to NATO. He was appointed Ambassador to the U.S. on September 16, 2008. Before that, he was deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in Russia from 2003 to 2008. 

During luncheon the Ambassador Kislyak addressed business and government officials of Houston on a variety of topics, including the state of current business and political relations between Russia, business and investment climate in Russia and the importance of developing further trade between Russia and the U.S. Ambassador Kislyak’s observations produced meaningful commentary on the current U.S.-Russia relations.
