The U.S. – Russia Chamber of Commerce
in partnership with the U.S. Commercial Service held the business seminar
“Doing Business with Russia: Risks and Rewards”
Over 1,000 American firms of all sizes continue to do business in Russia, including Boeing, GE, United Technologies, Honeywell, 3M, John Deere, Procter & Gamble, ExxonMobil, Chevron, and others. Hundreds of Houston based companies are engaged with Russian businesses.
Houston is responsible for 20 percent of the overall U.S.-Russia trade. In addition to the energy sector, several other industries hold considerable opportunities for US companies in Russia, including agriculture, chemicals, IT, machinery, healthcare, and metals. During the seminar, participants were provided with an overview of the current business climate in Russia and the available resources to assist them.
